I live in Florida. I’m enrolled in an eight month programmed now. The program it self is primarily Medical Assisting. However after completion of the eight months I will be a certified MA with speciality in X-Ray techology. This is also considered an assoicates degree. But to answer your question.. No it doesn’t really affect the placement rate. It might effect the salary, because most vocational schools only offer limited scope programs opposed to radiological technology programs in college.

You are correct, this guy sounds like a schmuck. Also 2 years is enough, 1 year of which is your basics(which consists of bullshit classes that don’t have anything to do with your major) they force you to take them so that way the college can get maximum money from you.
